I was too young to appreciate the significance of the Punk era and the Mod revolution; so kind of missed The Jam first time round.

It was only with my appreciation of The Style Council that I realised that Paul Weller had had a significant presence in the music world.

I have included a 'Jam Live (1993)' album which I have lost the packaging for - otherwise these are both perfect.

This album has been fully tested using Musical Fidelity A5.5 amplifier and Musical Fidelity A5.5 CD player.

Pre-loved and case shows minimal signs of age-related wear

The 1993 CD release of "Beat Surrender" by The Jam is a compilation album that was part of the "Polydor Years" reissues, bringing together some of the band's essential tracks. This compilation was a way to introduce new fans to The Jam's music and to provide a comprehensive collection of some of their later work for existing fans.

The CD includes the title track "Beat Surrender," which was The Jam's final single, as well as other significant tracks that highlight their evolution from punk rock to a more soul-influenced sound. The tracklist of the 1993 "Beat Surrender" CD features songs like: "Beat Surrender", "Shopping", "Move On Up", "Stoned Out of My Mind", "War"

This release captures the band's energy and creativity during their final phase, providing a snapshot of their diverse musical influences and the dynamic song-writing of Paul Weller. For fans and collectors, the 1993 "Beat Surrender" CD serves as both a nostalgic reminder of The Jam's impact and a tribute to their enduring legacy in British music.

"Live Jam" (1993): Another live album that features recordings from various tours between 1979 and 1982. This release highlights the band's tight performances and Weller's charismatic stage presence, with tracks like "Down in the Tube Station at Midnight" and "Town Called Malice."
