When I look back over the music I've loved through the years, Pink Floyd always features high up my list. Their music has always pushed the boundaries as has their presentation in concerts.

The Division Bell in 94, Live 8 at Hyde Park in 05, Roger Waters - The Wall in 2013 and David Gilmour at Pompeii in 2016 - I have been lucky to follow my passion for these amazing alchemists of musicianship.

This album has been fully tested using Musical Fidelity A5.5 amplifier and Musical Fidelity A5.5 CD player.

Pre-loved and case shows minimal signs of age-related wear

"Meddle," released on October 31, 1971, is often considered a pivotal album in Pink Floyd's discography, marking the transition from their early experimental phase to the more cohesive, conceptual works that would define their later career.

The album features a blend of progressive rock, ambient soundscapes, and traditional rock structures, showcasing the band's growing confidence in the studio and their willingness to push musical boundaries. The opening track, "One of These Days," is a pulsating instrumental driven by a distorted bass line and hypnotic rhythms, setting the tone for the album's exploratory nature.

The centerpiece of "Meddle" is the 23-minute epic "Echoes," which occupies the entire second side of the album. "Echoes" is a masterpiece of progressive rock, weaving together intricate musical themes, haunting lyrics, and a seamless blend of electronic effects and traditional instrumentation.

The track's expansive, atmospheric sound foreshadows the grandeur of Pink Floyd's later works, such as "The Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were Here." With "Meddle," Pink Floyd began to solidify their identity as a band capable of creating immersive and innovative musical experiences, laying the groundwork for their future as one of the most influential bands in rock history.
